The Baltimore & Ohio Telegraph Co. of the State of New York was incorporated May 17, 1882. Organization took place under similar charter in 26 other states. It absorbed the National Telegraph Co. and several others. Extended generally along the lines of the B&O Railroad, but acquired interests in other states. The company was absorbed in 1887 by the Western Union Telegraph Company. Stamps were issued in booklet form and sold for $5 and $10, contains all denominations.
