RS219d S. Brown Sigesmond Medicine Stamp

$250.00

In 1881, Dr. S. Brown Sigesmond was listed as a “physician” in New York City, but he was also mentioned in the New York City Directory under the heading of “patent and proprietary medicines”. Nothing is known of the products he sold, but it appears Dr. Sigesmond died in 1883 or 1884. With him apparently died any of his proprietary medicines.
