Engraved for Bald Cousland & Co about 1855, this die proof depicts an agriculture allegory with female and male figures flanking a shield with the map of Ohio. In the background a steamboat and locomotive are seen. A version of this vignette appeared on the 185x Farmers Bank of Missouri banknote. An original 1800’s item, not a reproduction or modern copy.
